A villa in 4 seasons area need to considering several aspects, the most important thing is designing the system of energy consumption, here is the Kram villa with modern prefab home architecture. This villa adopted a special system that enable the owner to reducing the consumption of the energy. This modern villa is designed by architect couple Natallia and Pelle Sorensen, presented to guests of the Copenhagen Climate Change Summit in December 2009 as a showcase for sustainable living.
The concept behind Villa KRAM is based on exploiting the advantages of two families living in one building. This means space saving in walking areas and other common functions, a 13 meter high skylight shaft is a central element, which in addition to providing light for the stairs and basement, also serves as a technical control room where the two families can keep an eye on energy consumption.
Since the building has three levels, the experience from this project may be used for both prefabricated low-budget construction and in larger buildings. It represents a new category between a single-family house and an apartment block with the best of both worlds including a smaller surface to insulate for both homes.
